Referral Software Policy

Find Me Alive (FMA) uses a unique referral system, also known as the Pay It Forward (PIF) Plan, to encourage community growth while keeping our mission focused on safety, transparency, and fairness. This Referral Software Policy explains how the system works, the standards for ethical use, and the safeguards in place to ensure compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and related laws.

Purpose of the Referral System

The referral system exists to:

  • Reward Participation – Allow users who share Find Me Alive with others to benefit from referrals.

  • Promote Community Growth – Expand the reach of our life-saving services by encouraging organic growth.

  • Maintain Transparency – Provide a clear structure that avoids deceptive practices and ensures users understand how referrals work.

  • Ensure Compliance – Operate within FTC standards so the system is never mistaken for or operated as a pyramid scheme.

How the System Works

  • First Referral Rule
The first referral always flows to the “ancestor” in the referral line, ensuring stability and fairness in the system.

  • Subsequent Referrals
After the first referral, all subsequent referrals are credited to the person who directly made them. This allows individuals to benefit directly from their own efforts.

  • Referral Chains
Sub-referrals (referrals made by a person’s own referrals) follow the same rules:

    • The sub-referrer’s first referral goes to their ancestor.

    • The second, third, and all additional referrals go to the sub-referrer themselves.

  • Tracking and Transparency
The software automatically tracks all referrals, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting of referral relationships and benefits.

Safeguards Against Misuse

  • No Pyramid Structures
The referral system is designed to reward individuals fairly while avoiding the exploitative structure of illegal pyramid schemes.

  • Transparency of Earnings
Referral-related benefits are clearly explained and documented. Users will not be misled with exaggerated claims or income guarantees.

  • Monitoring for Abuse
Attempts to manipulate, falsify, or fraudulently use the referral software may result in suspension or termination of accounts.

Compliance with FTC Standards

The Find Me Alive referral software is built with FTC compliance as a core principle:

  • Clear Disclosures – All promotional material must clearly disclose when referral benefits may apply.

  • Truthful Communication – Users may not make deceptive claims about potential financial outcomes.

  • No Guarantee of Income – Benefits depend on participation and activity, and Find Me Alive does not guarantee earnings of any kind.

User Responsibilities

Users who participate in the referral system must:

  • Use the software honestly and in accordance with this policy.

  • Represent Find Me Alive truthfully, avoiding misleading statements.

  • Respect the privacy and choice of potential referrals.

  • Acknowledge that misuse may result in loss of referral privileges.

Limitations

  • Non-Transferable
Referral benefits may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the system.

  • Service Over Profit
The referral system exists to grow a safety-focused community, not as a stand-alone profit opportunity.

  • Termination of Program
Find Me Alive reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral software at any time, with notice to users.

Our Commitment

The Find Me Alive referral software is a tool for community growth, not exploitation. By ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with legal standards, we maintain the integrity of our mission and provide users with confidence that the system operates ethically.
